We've been having tons of fun photographing
Founders Day Events!
I helped out in teaching a
Ball Room Dance Class
to get ready for the
Bicentennial Ball.
Then we all dressed up for the ball
in 1800's custumes!
I couldn't possibly ballroom dance in
a big hoop skirt, so I went as a saloon girl!
We had so much fun!

Staff Changes! Welcome Christie and Sophie!

We've had a few changes around here and I just wanted to give you the heads up!

Our friend, Dana, is no longer with us. She has decided to pursue her own
photography business and we wish her great success!

We've also had a couple of new additions to our staff!

Christie Ledbetter is our newest assistant.
Her kids, Chelsey and Chrissa, have been

"my kids" for a long time and Christie

is a welcome addition!

Y'all are gonna love her, too!

Princess now has a new playmate, too!
Sophie Lynn Rose has made her presence known!
She is a 3 month old Yorkie and a joy to have around!

She's still getting used to all of the people
coming to visit us, but she's warming up!
Now if we could just get that whole housetraining
thing down! LOL

We went through a two week battle not sure if

we were going to end up loosing a lot of stuff or not!

Charlestown's Bicentennial Birthday Party!

Most of you already know that we have been chosen

as the official photographers for the
Charlestown Bicentennial Events and
things got going in full swing on Thursday!

There was a huge birthday cake,
presenting of the colors,
entertainment, and
lots of folks dressed up
in period costumes.

News and happenings!

Hello everyone! I hope you are all enjoying the beautiful weather!

We've had a lot going on in the studio lately and I just want to catch you up on a few things.

First the not so good news - We have had yet another computer issue which is requiring us to do data recovery to our backup system. All of our images are intact, but the backup system won't let us access them. This only effects sessions taken during the last 6 weeks or so. No worries - they say our info is all there, they just have to get it off the bad system. So if your session was taken in the last six weeks or so, proofing and/or reprints may take a few weeks longer than normal. (This includes the Charlestown High School Graduation photos.) We do apologize for this inconvenience and will keep you informed of our progress.

Now on to much better news. We're headed to Nashville next week for the Children's Photographers International Conference. We'll have several images that will go up for competition. That part is always really exciting! Stay tuned to find out how well we do compared to other photographers from around the US and farther abroad. We'll be out of the studio all day Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday next week. Wish us luck in the competition!

Other fun news - We're hosting a both at The Spring Baby Shower on Sunday, June 8th from noon to 4. This will be a fun event just for new and expectant mommies! There will be lots of cute and one of a kind baby items for sale as well as gently used maternity clothing. This is the only sale of it's kind in the area - check it out on Sunday at 300 Spring, on Spring Street in Jeffersonville! Admission is $1 or a new/gently used baby item for Necole's Place, a haven for single mothers in need. To find out more call 812-590-3300.
